About Us
Our Community
The Women’s Interfaith Group is a private, invitation-only group.
If you wish to join, please fill out our contact form.
Since 2011, this informal group of women have met monthly in private homes to break bread and share personal insights, wisdom and experiences. Women from diverse backgrounds and faiths discuss topics that allow every participant to share their individual perspective. Examples of past topics include love, courage, mercy, strength among many others. See Events for more details.
Our Purpose
The common goal of the Women’s Interfaith Group is to come together in a sense of friendship and community by enhancing our understanding about the various faith perspectives in our community. We have opened our homes over the past several years in the spirit of love and respect to discuss those values that resonate and unite us as women. We are faith-neutral, prohibit political divisiveness and discourage proselytizing. We welcome all who share these values, including Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Mormons, Baha’is and many others too numerous to fully list, as well as agnostics and atheists.
We Believe
We have more in common than we can fully appreciate. This forum provides a safe environment for each woman to share their individual faith perspectives, be it a quote from the Bible, the Torah, the Koran or even simple poetry. Our goal is build friendships based on grace, respect and understanding.
