Women's Interfaith Group

Promoting Peace Through Friendship & Understanding
Our CommunityEvents

Our Purpose

The common goal of the Women’s Interfaith Group is to come together in a sense of friendship and community by enhancing our understanding about the various faith perspectives in our community. We have opened our homes over the past several years in the spirit of love and respect to discuss those values that resonate and unite us as women. We are faith-neutral, prohibit political divisiveness and discourage proselytizing. We welcome all who share these values, including Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Mormons, Baha’is and many others too numerous to fully list, as well as agnostics and atheists.

We Believe

We have more in common than we can fully appreciate. This forum provides a safe environment for each woman to share their individual faith perspectives, be it a quote from the Bible, the Torah, the Koran or even simple poetry. Our goal is build friendships based on grace, respect and understanding.

Our Community

The Women’s Interfaith Group is an informal, invitation-only group of women from diverse backgrounds brought together to promote unity in our community through dinners in private homes. Each month we discuss a topic that allows every participant to share their perspective. Examples of past topics include love, courage, mercy, strength among many others.
